    August Intro 2009-2010

    Hello all!

In an attempt to be like Scott, (think of the old Michael Jordan Gatorade commercials) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0AGiq9j_Ak
I thought it would be a good idea to continue sending a weekly blog during the school year. It will include information such as new information, upcoming events, and reminders.

This first blog will contain information about myself and my contact information. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

My name is Jerim DesJarlais. My first name is a combination of Jerry and Jim. I earned an undergraduate degree in Special Education, CD & LD emphasis, from UW-Eau Claire. After getting my undergrad I accepted a job in Kenosha working as a 6th grade cross categorical teacher. I met my wife during the school year and the following year accepted a position at an elementary school in Madison to be closer to her. The last 5 years I worked as a cross categorical teacher and Positive Behavior Coach (Madison's version of a Dean of Students) working in two middle schools for the Madison Metropolitan School District.

As mentioned, I am married to my wife, Heidi. We have a 2 1/2 year old son named Isaiah. We also have two dogs, Marley and Yogi. We recently moved into a place in Hallie.

I recently completed my masters in Educational Administration from Concordia University-Wisconsin where I earned both a Principal license and a Director of Instruction license.

    Contact information:
    District email address: desjarjm@chipfalls.k12.wi.us
    District cell phone number: 215-0951.
Office phone number: 726-2400 Ext. 2201.
I'm very much looking forward to getting to know you all and working in the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District.

Again, please contact me with questions, comments, queries, quibbles but not yet complaints!!
