  • At our all admin meeting we were told that we won't know much until the state budget is rolled out around March 1st

  • During the 10-11 school year we average 4.15 office referrals per day
  • Almost 10% of our office discipline referrals have led to out of school suspension this year, both as a school and in 8th grade

  • Unified Arts: there is a Cardinal Direction on the I:Drive about Being Prepared for Class, please be sure to teach it to your students so they know what they need for each of your classes

  • Aimsweb window opens Sept. 7-17. We will assess our students during TA.
  • Parent/Teacher Conference information will come out this week
  • Be sure to teach the Cardinal Directions to your TA. They are found on the I:Drive where you find the other TA activities. Each lesson is labeled by month
  • Working Lunch starts this week
  • Last year we discussed possibly having two dances for 8th grade. Let's talk more about this. I've contacted the DJ we used last year and he's willing to keep his rates very close to what we payed last year.
  • Voyagers after school programming begins next week
  • Executive Skills will start second quarter; please keep note of students (approx. 8 total) that might benefit from this group
  • An email will be coming out from the music department with dates that they would like to play for us during TA

  • We know Mrs. Toutant, Mr. Hemauer, and Mrs. Petersen are staying back from Valley Fair for sure.

Reminders

  • Please be sure to have students clean out their lockers if they haven't already
  • If students do not have their permission slips in today, they do not go to Valley Fair (barring situations out of their control, i.e. death in the family, etc.)
  • Please be sure to get coverage for you if you are presenting an award on Tuesday. Please have your certificates created as well.

  • 76.5% feel that our expectations are defined
  • Our goal for everything PBIS is 80%, 76.5% is a great start considering we're kicking this off next year!!
