Information

  • Please count what we have for the Valley Fair trip after TA today. Let me know so I can contact Blackhawk Bus Company and let them know what we need for busing
  • We know Mrs. Toutant, Mr. Hemauer, and Mrs. Petersen are staying back from Valley Fair for sure.

Reminders

  • Please be sure to have students clean out their lockers if they haven't already
  • If students do not have their permission slips in today, they do not go to Valley Fair (barring situations out of their control, i.e. death in the family, etc.)
  • Please be sure to get coverage for you if you are presenting an award on Tuesday. Please have your certificates created as well.

Next Week

  • Mon. May 31: Memorial Day; No School
  • Tues. June 1: 8th grade band concert for 8th grade TA in the auditorium; 8th grade awards ceremony @ 2:45; 8th grade outdoor concert and picnic @ 6:00 pm
  • Wed. June 2: Yearbooks handed out during TA; Respect and Responsibility Drawing @ 1:00 in the Commons
  • Thurs. June 3: Valley Fair trip for 8th graders from 7:30-5:30
  • Fri. June 4: Half-Day and last day with students!!

Two Weeks

  • Mon. June 7: Meet with Scott about Technology Standards...more information coming on Tuesday next week from the DOiT
  • Wed. June 9: Start of Summer School - Ends July 9

Data

  • 78 staff members completed the Self Assessment Survey related to PBIS
  • 76.5% feel that our expectations are defined
  • Our goal for everything PBIS is 80%, 76.5% is a great start considering we're kicking this off next year!!

  • We will have Officer Hakes visit us during TA on Tuesday, May 25th to talk about next year
  • I'll share the Wisconsin Covenant information with 8th graders in the auditorium on May 27th during TA
  • Special Kids Day is Friday, May 21st at Lake Wissota
  • RCU Dance after school Friday, May 21st from 4:00 - 6:00 pm

Two Weeks

  • Thurs. June 3: Valleyfair trip for 8th grade
  • Fri. June 4: Half day then we crank Alice Cooper!!
Data
  • As of May 19th we have 100 fewer Office Discipline referrals comparing this school year to last, as a school.
  • We have 70 fewer ODR in the cafeteria alone
  • We have written ODRs to 69 fewer students during the same time frame

  • If you would like to help with revising the goal setting format for students email Heidi by the end of the day May 12th. You will get curriculum pay.
  • Phy Ed is holding the mile run Thursday, May 13th
    Permission slips for Valleyfair are due back by May 28th
  • Let Mrs. Etmund know if you need books bound
