Information


  • Some students are going to start showing you a Daily Progress Report or DPR (point sheet). Please score them according to the rubric and initial. Only about 10 8th graders are assigned to start Monday. Emails with attachments will be coming so you can see what the DPR looks like.
  • Friday, Oct. 16 is Spirit Day sponsored by Student Council. Please wear your school colors.
  • Friday, Oct. 16 is the end of the first UA rotation
  • Please pass out the Movie Permission forms on or before Friday, Oct. 16. I need counts for the three movie options.
  • Some students will be starting the Check-In/Check-Out program on Monday
  • Contrary to some beliefs, I do not buy boxed shirt and tie sets...
  • Announcements are now displayed during lunch on the televisions; please let me or Mr. Zabrowski know if you would like information displayed

    • 8th Grade's goals are to continue the mentoring program.

    • Picture day is Friday, September 4th

    • September's monthly focus is on Manners and Respect

    • We will meet in the auditorium with TAs for a beginning of the year PowerPoint. Starfish = Sept. 8; Eagle=Sept. 9; Dolphin=Sept. 10

    • Please let students know that a $3 fine will be assessed to those who peel off the safety stickers from their lockers.

    • Mr. Kowalski has reserved computer labs for Sept. 14, 15, and 16 to have 8th graders complete technology surveys.

    • Jeremy Johnson has lab 410 reserved for the entire year during periods 7 and 8. This is the only lab loaded with the software he needs to teach his class.

    • Students that have IEPs have a flag that documents this next to their name in Infinite Campus
